Is there any version of F-Secure Client Security (or any other anti-virus software) that is effective against ransomware attacks? There is no version that detects ransomware. This is because this type of attack is difficult to detect, since it installs itself on the computer memory, and not on the disk. The best antivirus softwares invest in prevention and in helping users to keep their apps always up-to-date on their computer.
I have F-Secure Client Security 12.33 installed, but there are no updates. Why?
That version is no longer supported. Please install a newer version.
I installed version 15.30 on Windows 11. Afterwards, the programme became unavailable. Why? Because Windows Defender uninstalled WithSecure. Please choose which software you wish to keep in your device.
