How to recover the Técnico ID authentication password through Connect?

To retrieve the authentication password via mobile phone, go to https://fenix.tecnico.ulisboa.pt/fenixedu-connect

If you already have an account on the Connect platform, you must log in using the method you used to create the account. After logging in, you should go to “Authentication and Security” and follow the “Set Password” process.

If you never had an account on the platform, or if you no longer have access, you must create an account using one of the available methods. After creation, you must validate your identity. There are 5 methods available:

  • Digital Mobile Key – for holders of Portuguese Citizen Card and with access to the respective Digital Mobile Key
  • Card Reader – for Portuguese Citizen Card holders with access to the respective access code and a card reader
  • Video call – when selecting this option, a video call is scheduled to validate the identity, which can be rescheduled. At the scheduled time, you should check-in through your dashboard and wait to be called. For the call, you must have with you the identification document used to fill in the data.
  • Webcam – when selecting this option, three photographs will be requested: in profile, on the front of the identification document and on the back.
  • DGES code – can only be used once, and only by students who have entered IST through the National Access Contest

After validating the identity, you must perform all the mandatory steps available on the platform. Afterwards, if you have not set your password in one of the activities, you should go to “Authentication and Security” and follow the process of “Set Password”.
