SI makes available to the Técnico community database accounts, by user or by group. Each user or group has at his disposal a reasonable quota, enough that he does not encounter space limitations.
This service runs at db.tecnico.ulisboa.pt, where applications of database management systems run MySQL and PostgreSQL.
The db.tecnico.ulisboa.pt server is subject to daily backups during the night.

It is also possible to activate the database service for group use, in the group administration page within out self-service. In that case the username and password may be set as the service is activated or received in the institutional email account of the person who activates it.
