NTP protocol

It is an operating system/server clock synchronization protocol, which presupposes the existence of a computer (server), responsible for informing the computers (usually servers) connected to it of the current date and time, so that there are no discrepancies or inconsistencies. This protocol is very useful in the context of security protocols, where transactions need to have time-stamps consistent with each other.
