Today, 08th June, after 7 PM will be performed a technical intervention to set up the new version of the Fénix system (version 5).
The system will be unavailable between 19h and 20h.

On 4th June 2015 will be available at Aplicações Centrais a new interface to visualize data from Módulo de Gestão de Projetos (MGP).
This new interface will allow users to obtain a set of information by coordinator, cost center and project.

From 2nd March the Computer and Network Services at IST will provide a new authentication service for the several websites and services of Técnico, safer and optimized for mobile devices, called Técnico ID. The username (ex: ist12345) and password will remain the same, but the authentication will be easier in the several websites and services of Técnico, on any device.
This new service will be available at https://id.tecnico.ulisboa.pt. The procedures for authentication will be the same. If you have any question please contact the Computer and Network Services by email dsi@tecnico.ulisboa.pt.
On the 23rd of January, after 10 PM a technical intervention will take place to set up the new version of the Administrative Applications for IST, IST-ID and ADIST. Therefore these services will be unavailable around 3 hours.

On the 19th January, after 7 PM will be performed a technical intervention to set up the new version of the Fénix system (version 4), developed by FénixEDU Team of DSI.
During the period of about 6 hours several features of the system will not be available, such as: public web pages, content management and sending emails.

Instituto Superior Técnico’s Computer and Network Services (DSI) established, last year, a partnership with Google, making this school a pioneer Portuguese institution with Google Maps Indoors, a feature that allows users to access the internal maps of buildings/Campus.
Campus Alameda will be the first to be included in this new feature of Google Maps in Portugal and was released nationally on the 14th January. Técnico will be one of the first institutions of education to enable this service.
Also as of January 14th, the school will include a mobile application support for this new feature of Google Maps, which will allow any student to reach the door of his classroom without any complications, from day one.
Exceptionally on the 17th Dec. 2014 DSI front office will close at 3:30 PM.
