E-mail service is down

O serviço de e-mail está indisponível desde as 00h05 de hoje, dia 2 de Novembro de 2021.

A causa do problema está relacionada com uma corrupção de dados do sistema de armazenamento, que afectou milhares de caixas de correio. Apesar do múltiplos níveis de redundância que a solução de mail possui, a recuperação de dados implicará a utilização do backup das últimas 24h. A equipa está a trabalhar para repor o serviço de e-mail o mais depressa possível.

Nesta fase ainda não é possível saber que quantidade de e-mails das últimas 24h é que poderão ter sido perdidos.

Pedimos desculpa pelo transtorno causado.

IST became member of eduGAIN identity federation

Our authentication portal and identity provider have became a member of eduGAIN identity federation. With this integration it is now possible to access more than 1800 online web services most of which depend on eduGAIN federated login.

Abuse avoidance mechanism implemented on e-mail accounts

Our e-mail mailbox server has now a mechanism to fight against e-mail account abuse. This mechanism was implement so we can avoid that user abuse of this service to do mass mailing which normally puts our e-mail servers on SPAM Black Lists, also known as SBLs.

Temporary interruption of data network service – 16th Dec. 2015 at 7 PM

We inform you that  on the 16th of December, 2015, at 7 PM the data network of Universidade de Lisboa will have a technical interruption to reorganize the connections and traffic routing.
During this intervention all Técnico and INESC (Institute for Systems Engineering and Computers) networks will have no access to the Internet or to the networks from the other schools of the Universidade de Lisboa.
It is estimated that the operation will take about 1 hour until all traffic destinations are reachable again. However, there might be unexpected occurrences causing a delay in resetting the services.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

New webmail system

Técnico’s webmail system at https://webmail.tecnico.ulisboa.pt will have a new design on Monday, 7th December 2015 around 3 PM.

The structure will be similar to the current version with no significant changes in how to use the webmail system.

Ephorus: Logins Cancelled

We inform that the logins to the application Ephorus were cancelled in October by Turnitin manufacturer throughout ULisboa, following a failure renewal of this software.

The software in this contract is the Urkund, and wait for details about the disposal.

It is likely that the creation of logins has to be repeated, and there’s no migration of individual settings made in the previous platform Ephorus.

We expect that the situation can be resolved at the end of November.

Ephorus/Turnitin – Login unavailable

We inform that the logins on the website of Ephorus / Turnitin are temporarily blocked.
Following the acquisition of the company by Ephorus Turnitin, coinciding with the renewal of the current contract, the manufacturer maintains the logins already allocated suspended throughout ULisboa.
This difficulty began in mid-October, and we think it can be resolved by the beginning of November.

Office365 available to the domains *.ulisboa.pt

Office365 is temporarily unavailable to the domains *.ulisboa.pt

The portal Office365 for the domains *.ulisboa.pt has temporarily inhibited the use of several applications out of the cloud.

We hope that the situation normalize within a few days.
