DSI maintains backups of all AFS data, mailboxes of Tecnico accounts, and databases for specific periods of time according to best practices and availability of disk space.
Backup copies are made on a daily basis therefore any backup that is requested for a specific day will be the backup from the previously night.
In addition to the regular backups there are redundant disks that allow recovery from hardware failures.
For AFS volumes the user has direct access its last full backup made between 21:00 and 22:00 each day. This is provided in the directory “yesterday” inside the AFS volume.
